Canyon Chief
A 98.5-mile natural gas gathering pipeline connecting Williams? Devils Tower platform and the Blind Faith natural gas lateral to MP 261A on the continental shelf where connection is made to Williams? Transco pipeline. The natural gas from this system is primarily delivered to Williams? Mobile Bay gas processing plant in Coden, Ala. The system parallels the Mountaineer oil pipeline for the half of the route.
Houston Office
Our Houston office is home to Transco and our deepwater services group. Approximately 600 people work at this office. Williams has had a major presence in Houston since 1995.
Markham
The Markham complex has two facilities. The first one is a separation and dehydrating plant that removes water and condensate from natural gas. It opened in the early 1970s. The second facility is a new cryogenic natural gas processing plant that began operating in 2001. It can process 300 million cubic feet per day.

Canyon Station
Canyon Station is a fixed-leg platform in 300 feet of water in East Main Pass Block 261, approximately 60 miles south of Mobile, Ala. It is designed to treat, process and handle up to 500 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The platform commenced operations in July 2002.
Devils Tower
The Devils Tower spar is a floating production system located in 5,610 feet of water at Mississippi Canyon Block 773, approximately 150 miles southwest of Mobile, Ala. The facility is owned by Williams, operated by ENI, and capable of producing 60,000 barrels of oil per day and 60 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It began operating in May 2004.
Galveston A244
Galveston A244 is a shallow-water junction platform that supports oil and gas production from the Boomvang, Nansen and Gunnison fields. Three of Williams’ offshore pipelines are connected to this facility.
Geismar
The Geismar, La., olefins production plant is located south of Baton Rouge. It can produce up to 1.3 billion pounds of ethylene per year. Williams operates the plant and has an 83-percent ownership interest.
Gunnison
The 96-mile, 18-inch diameter Gunnison pipeline delivers oil from Garden Banks Block 668 to Williams’ shallow-water platform at Galveston A244. The line became operational in December 2003. Capacity is approximately 84,000 barrels per day.
Mobile Bay
The Mobile Bay natural gas processing plant is located in Coden, Ala. Total processing capacity is almost 700 million cubic feet per day. The plant opened in 1999.
Mountaineer
The 117-mile Mountaineer oil pipeline is a combination of 18- and 20-inch-diameter pipe. It delivers oil from the Devils Tower spar to a third-party (Empire) terminal near Venice, La.
North Padre Island
North Padre Island is a 40-mile offshore gathering system that delivers natural gas into Williams’ Transco intrastate pipeline. It consists of 10-, 16- and 20-inch diameter pipe. Capacity is 200 million cubic feet per day.
