Operations

From Fort McMurray, Canada, to the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and from Big Piney, Wyo., to Tunkhannock, Pa., we're focused on running large-scale assets and running them safely and reliably. Our network includes:
  • Gas processing capacity of approximately 6.6 billion cubic feet of gas per day
  • Annual natural gas liquids production of more than 200,000 barrels per day
  • More than 10,000 miles of oil and gas gathering pipelines with inlet capacity of 10.6 billion cubic feet of gas per day and 475,000 barrels of oil per day
  • Approximately 1,000 miles of NGL transportation pipelines with nearly 200,000 barrels per day of capacity
  • Approximately 21 million barrels of NGL storage capacity
  • Innovative deepwater infrastructure - strategic hubs

Note: Most of these assets are owned by Williams Partners L.P. (NYSE:WPZ), one of the largest energy master limited partnerships in the country. They also reflect 100 percent of equity investments. Williams owns approximately 75 percent of Williams Partners, including the controlling general partner interest.

Our service areas include Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico and Canada.

Wyoming
  • We're the largest gas processor in Wyoming
  • We're one of the largest NGL-producing complexes in the lower 48 states
Four Corners
  • We're the largest gatherer and processor in the San Juan Basin
  • We're the only major gatherer of conventional and coal seam volumes in the San Juan Basin

Deepwater
  • We own one of the world's deepest dry tree spars (in water depth of 5,610 feet)
  • We were the first company in the Gulf of Mexico to economically and successfully recover methanol used in a subsea tie-back operation (with recovery rates up to 90 percent)

Olefins

Gulf Coast
  • We own 5/6ths of and operate a 1.35-billion-pound-per-year olefins cracker
  • We own and operate a 500-million-pound-per-year propylene splitter

Canada
  • We're the only processor of oil sands off-gas in the world
  • We own the only olefins fractionator in Western Canada
  • We own a 500-million-pound-per-year propylene splitter

  • We operate more than 150 active underground storage caverns for natural gas liquids
  • We operate and jointly own a 107,000 barrel-per-day fractionator
  • We offer a 30-spot rail rack terminal and a two-spot loading and unloading truck terminal to our customers
