Operations

From Fort McMurray, Canada, to San Joaquin, Venezuela, and from Big Piney, Wyo., to Coden, Ala., we’re focused on running large-scale assets and running them safely and reliably. Our network includes:
  • 18 natural gas processing, treating and/or production handling facilities
  • Combined daily inlet capacity of approximately 8 billion cubic feet of gas per day
  • Approximately 375,000 barrels per day natural gas liquids production handling capacity
  • More than 8,000 miles of gas gathering lines
  • Innovative deepwater infrastructure

Our service areas include Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela and Canada.

Wyoming
  • We’re the largest gas processor in Wyoming
  • We’re one of the largest NGL-producing complexes in the lower 48 states
Four Corners
  • We’re the largest gatherer and processor in the San Juan Basin
  • We’re the only major gatherer of conventional and coal seam volumes in the San Juan Basin

Deepwater
  • We own one of the world’s deepest dry tree spars (in water depth of 5,610 feet)
  • We were the first company in the Gulf of Mexico to economically and successfully recover methanol used in a subsea tie-back operation (with recovery rates up to 90 percent)

Olefins

Gulf Coast
  • We own and operate a 1.35-billion-pound-per-year olefins cracker
  • We own and operate a 500-million-pound-per-year propylene cracker

Canada
  • We’re the only processor of oil sands offgas in the world
  • We own the only olefins fractionator in Western Canada
  • We own a 500-million-pound-per-year propylene cracker

Kansas
  • We operate more than 150 active underground storage caverns for natural gas liquids
  • We operate and jointly own a 107,000 barrel-per-day fractionator
  • We offer a 20-spot rail rack terminal and a two-spot loading and unloading truck terminal to our customers

Venezuela
  • We own and operate the world’s second largest compression station, factoring in pressure and volume
  • Our repressurization project at El Furrial makes it the top producing oil field in Venezuela
