| The process of siting natural gas pipeline facilities is comprised of many variables. Federal regulations require that the pipeline company conduct numerous studies and analyze a number of alternatives before filing an application. Williams is committed to working with communities to select facility locations that have the least impact on the community, the environment and other considerations, while balancing the needs of customers. Early involvement from communities will help Williams identify and address issues related to project design or siting. Your feedback is important. You can share your feedback by attending one of our public workshops, calling us directly at (866) 455-9103 or submitting comments electronically to potomac@williams.com. Once Williams has had an opportunity to collect and evaluate stakeholder comments, a detailed analysis of siting alternatives will be submitted to the FERC for consideration and ultimate approval.
