UPDATE: Check out coverage of this great event by the Herald Standard.

Williams was a major sponsor at the Fluid Power Challenge, hosted by the Fayette Business Education Partnership in Fayette County, Pa.

During this workshop middle school students learned from experts at Williams about fluid power technology (hydraulics and pneumatics) and built fluid power mechanisms with real world application.

This event, along with a similar one in Allegheny County, Pa., is part of Williams’ efforts to share information about careers in science technology engineering and math  (STEM). It included 12 student teams representing all of the school districts in Fayette County.

Great job to all the students who participated and special thanks to our employees Drew and Katelyn, who volunteered as facilitators of the program.
