Former role: VP – Engineering Services

Number of years with Williams: 18 yrs

Number of years retired: 2+ years

How have you been spending time in retirement?

The pandemic hit shortly after retiring in Dec 2019, however it hasn’t stopped my spouse (Traci) and I from enjoying our time together and serving our local community.

I currently serve as State Governing Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma; assist the Tulsa Area United Way agencies with process improvement efforts focused on business strategies, business plans and execution, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPI’s); and tutor with Reading Partners

Other activities include travel to Austria, Northern Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Mexico; remodeling projects and time at the ranch; and helping my father as he recovered from a stroke.

So far, what has been your favorite thing about retirement?

Volunteering at non-profit organizations.

Time with my spouse and travelling.

Far less daily stress and getting more than 6 hours of sleep.

Anything else you would like to add?

I’m so grateful for the business and leadership skills I gained while at Williams and sharing them with others in the non-profit world.
