Williams is temporarily rerouting natural gas flow from its Lathrop Compressor Station while inspections and repairs take place following a flash fire on Thursday, March 29.  The station is located near Springville in Susquehanna County, Pa.

Approximately 200 MMcf/d of natural gas is being diverted to the Wilcox Compressor Station for compression.

Preliminary results of the investigation showed that emergency shutdown equipment worked properly to isolate and minimize the incident and that emergency procedures were immediately activated.  Most of the damage occurred to the exterior of the station, while the majority of the equipment and flooring inside the building remain undamaged.
