The Deal is Done; We’re Moving Westward in the Marcellus

Staff Reports

Williams welcomed more than 50 employees from Caiman and is looking to hire many more in the upcoming months.

Remember when we announced our plans to expand westward in the Marcellus? Well, we’ve done it!

As of today, we have officially acquired Caiman Eastern Midstream’s assets in northern West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. You can read the press release here.

This acquisition puts us in a “sweet spot” within the liquids-rich area of the Marcellus. We are currently working on expanding the existing physical assets we just purchased, which include a gathering system and a processing facility. Construction is also underway on fractionation and additional processing facilities and there are plans to build natural gas liquid (NGL) pipelines.

The folks in the picture above are just a few of the more than 50 new employees who have transitioned from Caiman to Williams in the past few days and we are excited to welcome them into our company.

We are looking to grow even more in the next few months and we want to hire locally. We need your talent – from operations to engineering, construction and other skills – to continue to expand our business in the Marcellus. We are excited to become part of your community and to help it grow.

That’s why we encourage you to log in to williams.com/careers and apply to any openings you may be interested in or share them with friends looking for great career opportunities.
