Williams Welcomes the Holiday Season in Moundsville, West Virginia

Staff Reports

Williams employees and their families joined Moundsville residents during this year’s Christmas Parade.

About 12,000 people lined the streets of Moundsville, West Virginia, Saturday, Nov. 17, to welcome the holiday season during the annual Christmas Parade.

The parade is a long-standing, cherished tradition that has been part of the Moundsville community for 43 years.

It was Williams’ first time to participate, and more than 25 of our co-workers joined our Moundsville neighbors during the celebration.

Employees and their families stood atop the Williams float spreading holiday cheer, candy and giveaways along the route.

Our Williams float was one of 80 units that participated in the parade, including marching bands, dance groups, fire trucks, civic organizations, public officials and, most importantly, Santa Claus.

Williams acquired significant assets in Marshall County earlier this year. We love being part of the Moundsville community, and look forward to supporting its traditions for many years to come.
