Staff Reports

Ryan Savage, vice president and general manager for Pennsylvania and New York, spoke at the Hart Energy Conferences Marcellus-Utica Midstream conference recently in Pittsburgh, Pa.

He talked about the critical need for natural gas infrastructure in the northeast, and the role of Williams to connect the best basins with the best markets to satisfy the needs of the producers and the consumers in the Northeast and along the eastern seaboard.

“New energy transportation infrastructure is critical to help families in the Northeast, it’s important for the environment and it grows the region’s economy,” Ryan said.

Ryan also discussed about current commodity prices and how they affect the natural gas industry in the northeast. Here’s part of what he said:

“Even with the recent decline in oil prices, the fundamentals of our business are strong,” Ryan explained. “We remain committed to helping develop this rapidly growing area in the Northeast and we believe the future here is extremely bright.”
