It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the 5th year of the Annual Williams BBQ Cook-Off!
The cook-off – to be held Friday, September 9th – will be hosted again this year at Lazy Brook Park in Tunkhannock, (Wyoming County) PA. The event serves as the largest United Way fundraiser for Williams’ Susquehanna Supply Hub midstream division and eligible proceeds raised will be donated to area United Way chapters.
The cook-teams are prepping their recipes as they vie to provide the very best BBQ in the northeast.
If tasting is your barbecue talent, gather up your friends to form a Judge team and help select this year’s winner. We’ve added a new Elite Judge level for those of you who want top-level BBQ tasting honors, including a designated tasting session to help determine the Grand Champion winner.
If you just want to join the fun, you can also purchase a People’s Choice ticket and vote by donating dollars to your favorite team’s People’s Choice bucket…either way gets you the chance to taste amazing barbecue samples all afternoon.
The results of the judging will be tallied and announced that evening. The first place winner in each category will receive a wall plaque and most importantly: bragging rights! The Grand Champion will be the custodian for one year of the highly coveted Grand Champion BBQ Cup.
Each year Williams’ Barbecue Cook-Off raises funds to benefit thousands of neighbors served by United Way agencies.
