Professional Experience
Robert Wingo became Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategic Development at Williams in July 2025. In this role, Wingo is responsible for enterprise-level strategy, business development, investment analysis, commodity marketing, new energy ventures, upstream, communications and corporate social responsibility.
Wingo is an industry veteran with a strong track record of setting strategic direction, building robust business relationships and delivering on customer commitments. At Williams, his depth of experience and strategic capabilities support the company’s focus on innovation and industry leadership while creating long-term value for our stakeholders.
Before joining Williams, Wingo served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Ventures and Midstream for EQT, where he was responsible for driving the strategic growth and expansion of EQT’s midstream business. He also led the company’s efforts to identify and enter new businesses, including low-carbon energy opportunities. Prior to EQT, Wingo held various leadership roles at Encap Flatrock Midstream, Rice Energy and Copano Energy, where he held positions in operations, engineering, project management, business development and corporate development.
Education
Wingo earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
