Driftwood line 200
Driftwood line 200
Building a stronger, more reliable energy network for the region.
Project Overview and Resources
Across southwest Louisiana, a new chapter in energy infrastructure is emerging. The Driftwood Line 200 Project brings Williams and Woodside Energy together with one shared goal: to build a stronger, more reliable energy network for the region.
Stretching nearly 37 miles, the new pipeline creates eight vital connections to systems like Transco and the Louisiana Energy Gateway, forming a resilient backbone that supports petrochemical plants, LNG facilities, manufacturers, and the communities that rely on them.
More than a pipeline, Driftwood Line 200 is part of a global shift toward cleaner, more flexible energy. By enhancing access to reliable, lower‑carbon natural gas, it strengthens Louisiana’s role both at home and on the world stage.
At its core, this project is about linking companies, communities, and global markets while reinforcing the economic foundation that keeps Louisiana moving forward. Driftwood Line 200 stands as the next step toward a more resilient, more sustainable energy future for the region and beyond.
