Silver Spur Expansion Project

The Silver Spur project is designed to strengthen the region’s energy infrastructure by creating a new pathway for abundant Rocky Mountain natural gas to reach communities and businesses across Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. By connecting existing pipeline systems with targeted new facilities, the project would enhance the flexibility and reliability of the Northwest Pipeline network, helping ensure natural gas can be delivered where it is needed most. 

As energy demand continues to grow, Silver Spur would provide utilities and other customers with additional firm transportation capacity to support reliable service for homes and businesses. By leveraging much of the existing pipeline corridor and infrastructure, the project represents a practical approach to expanding energy access while building on an established transportation system. 

Silver Spur is designed to deliver reliable natural gas supply to Idaho by leveraging existing infrastructure and responsibly expanding the pipeline network.
