Williams BBQ Cook-Off
Delicious Day, Supports United Way
Williams will be hosting its 11th Annual BBQ Cook-Off at Lazy Brook Park, Tunkhannock, PA on Friday, September 15th.
For the past 9 years companies in the natural gas industry have competed to see who makes the best BBQ in three categories: Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket and Pork Ribs.
This year the competition will be even more intense and the results even more scrumptious! Plus, eligible proceeds raised help support local chapters of the United Way.
Looking to enter as a cook team? There will be a minimum donation of $500.00 for the entry of a four person BBQ cook team. Cook teams are asked to provide their own meat, grill and sauce and to be prepared to have their recipe sampled by discerning judges.
Looking to be a VIP Judge? If smoking meat isn’t your thing, enter into any of five VIP judging levels: Grill Baby, Grill (minimum donation $5,000), Smokin’ ($2,500), Mesquite ($2,000), Hickory ($1,500) and our new category: Applewood ($1,000). Each category provides entry into the event for the judges, additional general admission tickets for guests and extra perks based on the category level.
The competition also includes a fun-filled People’s Choice category, which allow anyone attending to play a part in the judging.
Judging will begin at Noon and last until 3:30 p.m.
The Williams BBQ Cook-Off is widely viewed as a fun and exciting event. You’ll enjoy the food and entertainment and have the opportunity to talk to leaders of the natural gas industry, all while helping support the United Way. Please read these rules before registering.
