Bela Patel has joined Rates & Regulatory – Northwest Pipeline as a manager this past February. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Houston. Before joining Northwest’s Rates & Regulatory, Bela worked for Williams for 13 years as part of the Professional Development Program (PDP) before joining Rates & Regulatory for Eastern Interstates/Transco.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Bela lives in Houston with her husband, Vishal, and their two children.
Benjamin Zwirek joined Williams in March as a Commercial Services representative. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Global Energy Management from the University of Houston. Before joining Williams, Benjamin worked as a Marketing/Commercial Representative at GeoSouthern Energy and a Product Control Analyst at Koch Supply & Trading.
Benjamin lives in Houston with his wife and three children. He enjoys working out, traveling and watching football.
Christine Wallat joined Williams in June as a Business Development Lead for Williams - Northwest Pipeline. Christine has more than 20 years of marketing, business development and origination leadership experience in the energy industry. Before joining Williams, Christine worked for Magnum Energy Midstream Holdings. Prior to that, Christine worked at Shell, where she originated and negotiated new commercial positions and managed Shell’s Western U.S. natural gas portfolio, including natural gas transportation and storage assets. While at Shell, she also worked as an expat in the Philippines where she was responsible for the gas marketing business and downstream LNG strategy.
Christine holds a Master of Business Administration from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at University of Kentucky, a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance from the University of Kentucky and an Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies / Renewables Accreditation from Stanford University. Christine received a full scholarship to the University of Kentucky after competing for the Canadian International Gymnastics Team.
Harrison Matherne joined the Williams Commercial Service Representative team in March. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Rhodes College. Before joining the Commercial Service team, Harrison worked as a Financial Analyst for Williams and as a Buy Side Research Intern for Chickasaw Capital Management.
In his spare time, Harrison enjoys playing golf, fishing on the beach and watching sports.
Jennifer Rowan has joined Rates and Regulatory for Williams – Northwest Pipeline. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance from Southern Arkansas University. Before joining Rates and Regulatory, Jennifer spent the past 5 years working on the Commercial Services Team for Williams – Transco Pipeline as a Commercial Services Representative for the Northeast Market.
Prior to Williams, Jennifer worked for BP Energy in various roles in Accounting, Risk, and Commercial. She brings natural gas industry knowledge from Accounting and Commercial, as well as marketer and pipeline perspectives.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Jennifer lives in Houston with her husband and two children.
Liz Hughes has joined Rates and Regulatory for Williams – Northwest Pipeline. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University. Before joining Rates and Regulatory, Liz spent the past 7 years working on the Commercial Services Team for Williams – Transco Pipeline.
Prior to Williams, Liz worked for Southern Union and Energy Transfer in a commercial scheduling and optimization role. Liz brings her commercial aptitude and process improvement skills with her to this new role at Northwest Pipeline.
In her spare time, Liz enjoys traveling, running, skiing, hiking and spending time with her family. Liz lives in Houston with her husband and her deaf wheaten terrier, Mo.
Mike Heeney joined the Rates & Regulatory Team as a Regulatory Analyst Lead in March. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and a CPA license. Before joining the NWP Rates & Regulatory team, Mike worked in Financial Reporting and General Accounting at Williams for 10 years before moving to the Transco Rate Department.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys camping and woodworking.
