Powering America’s communities in critical times

Staff Reports

At a time when our nation’s hospitals and health care heroes are fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, our teams at Williams are taking steps to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of energy to America’s cities and communities, from the Gulf Coast to New York City to the Pacific Northwest.

We operate thousands of miles of pipelines underground that feed facilities where our nation’s electricity is made. We also move the natural gas that many Americans use to cook dinner, heat their homes and take a warm shower.

“As a critical natural gas infrastructure provider, Williams maintains robust plans and contingencies to ensure business and operational continuity,” said President and CEO Alan Armstrong. “Our employees are critical to safely operating our business, and we continue to make immediate changes to business practices to stay aligned with federal and state guidelines related to coronavirus.”
